Terms and Conditions- Business

1. Terms – The terms and conditions of this agreement can only be amended or varied by the contractor.

2. Payment – Must be made within 7 days of completion of works. Payment details will be on your invoice provided on completion of the job.

3. Overdue Invoices – Any invoices that are more than 7 DAYS OVERDUE WILL INCUR A $25 ADMINISTRATION FEE for each month the invoice is unpaid. Overdue accounts will be subject to interest at the rate of 9% p.a., calculated every 30 days until the date it is paid. In the event that your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including legal demand costs.

4. Cancellation fee – Any Cancellation within 24 hours of works will incur a 20% or $385 fee (whichever is greater).

5. Stump Grinding – If it’s included in your quote it will be listed as a separate item to Tree Removal.

The client must expose/identify all underground services. Damage to underground services is at the cost of the client. Stump grinding takes out the bulk of the stump to a depth of 300mm. And does not follow roots, unless agreed upon with the customer. Stump grindings will not be removed from the site.

6. Period of offer – This Quotation is valid for 30 days unless extended by the Contractor.

7. Access – The Client must ensure the Contractor has unrestricted access to all areas to perform the works. Restriction of access may lead to further costs.

8. Firewood – the term “firewood” means timber that is cut into 12-16 inch rounds, and not split. Sizes are determined by Tree Amigos on the day. Firewood will remain at the base of the tree and not moved unless specified on the quote.

9. Permit – It is the responsibility of the client to obtain any permits that may be required prior to commencement of works.

10. Variations – Any extra work will be considered as a variation. A new quote may be issued, or the current quote edited. No extra work will be actioned until the client has digitally accepted the new or edited quote.

11. Deposit – Tree Amigos will take a 20% or $100 deposit upon acceptance of the quote, whichever is greater. Work can commence once the deposit has cleared into our account. The remainder of the invoice will be paid on the invoice due date.

12. Equipment- Where manual handling is identified, Tree Amigos will use machines (skid steers, mini loaders, excavators etc) as necessary to reduce the likelihood of injury due to manual handling tasks. These machines may cause minor damage to lawns, and we cannot be held responsible to minor damages caused.
